We work the outside of the house. Cobwebs off the eaves, a treated band at the foundation, wasp nests down, mosquitoes and ticks handled at the cover where they actually live.
Short answer
EKKO Lawns provides exterior pest control only across La Salle, Kendall, Grundy, Will and Kankakee counties. Our flagship program is Home Pest Protection at $49 per month with an initial service of $99 to $199, covering four seasonal visits a year and re services for covered pests. Mosquito control, flea and tick control and rodent and vole control are specialty services priced separately. We do not treat interiors, and anything established inside living space gets referred out.
Why exterior work handles most of it
Almost every pest inside a house walked in from outside. Spiders web up in the eaves, ants trail along the foundation, wasps build under the soffit and rodents test the gaps around utility lines. Treat that outside band and the population never reaches the door.

How the pest season runs
Four seasonal visits a year on Home Pest Protection. Mosquito, tick and rodent service run as separate add ons.
Spring
Ants start trailing and wasps begin building. The first barrier of the year goes down before either establishes.
Late spring
Mosquito and tick service starts for customers who add it. Treatment targets shade, fence lines and harborage rather than open lawn.
Early summer
Peak activity across the board. Spiders web up, ant pressure hits the foundation and nests need knocking down.
Late summer
Populations are at their largest and beginning to look for shelter. This is the visit that prevents fall entry.
Fall
Boxelder bugs, stink bugs and cluster flies mass on warm siding. Rodents move toward foundations and outbuildings.
Between visits
Activity comes back, we come back. Re service between scheduled visits is included.
Exterior only, stated up front
We do not treat interiors. That is a deliberate scope rather than a service we have not gotten around to, and it means a treated perimeter is doing the work before anything gets a chance to come inside.
If something is already established in walls or living space, an exterior barrier will not solve it and we will say so. You want an interior company for that, and we would rather tell you than sell a service that misses the problem.
