A family owned lawn and pest company in Illinois

EKKO Lawns is owned and run by Andrew Manolatos. No franchise agreement, no call center, no rotating crew. The person who prices your lawn is the person responsible for how it turns out.

Meet Andrew

Andrew Manolatos started EKKO Lawns to do lawn care the way he wanted it done on his own property. Measure the lawn, tell people the truth about what it needs, show up when you said you would and stand behind the work.

That sounds simple until you have dealt with a national company that sent a different tech every visit and never noticed the same corner failing three years running. Family owned means somebody's name is attached to every property on the route, and around here that name gets repeated at ball games and block parties.

  • Locally owned and operated, not a franchise
  • Licensed applicator on every application
  • Lawn care and exterior pest control under one roof
  • Forty two towns across five Illinois counties

What family owned actually changes

Every company says they care. Here is what it looks like in practice.

You get the owner

Andrew answers the phone and walks the properties. When you have a question about your lawn, you are talking to the person who decides how it gets treated.

Same crew, same route

We keep routes small on purpose. The same people learn your property and notice what changed since the last visit.

Straight answers

If your lawn does not need a service, we say so. Selling a round that will not help is how a family business loses a neighborhood.

How it started

One truck, one setup and a route built one lawn at a time. The equipment has grown since. The way we treat a property has not.

What working with us looks like

Five things you can count on from the first quote through the last visit of the season.

1

We measure the property

Pricing comes off real square footage rather than a guess from the curb. You get a flat price before anything starts.

2

You hear from us before we come

A text goes out the day before each scheduled visit so nobody finds a truck in the driveway unannounced.

3

We treat and we write it down

Every visit ends with a note listing what went down and anything we noticed on the property.

4

Something looks off, we come back

Service calls between visits are part of the program and cost you nothing.

5

You are never locked in

No contract and no cancellation fee. We would rather earn the next visit than hold you to one.
