Exterior pest control in Illinois
We work the outside of your house. Cobwebs pulled off the eaves, a treated band around the foundation, wasp nests knocked down and ant mounds handled before any of it finds a way indoors.

Short answer
EKKO Lawns provides exterior pest control only. Service covers dewebbing eaves, soffits and light fixtures, a treated perimeter band along the foundation, wasp and hornet nest removal, and treatment of ant mounds and entry points. We do not treat inside the home, and stopping pests at the exterior is what keeps most of them from getting in.
What exterior service covers
Nearly every pest inside a house walked in from outside. Spiders set up in the eaves, ants trail along the foundation, wasps build under the soffit and mice test the gaps around utility lines. Treating that outside band means the population never reaches the door in the first place.
- Dewebbing on eaves, soffits, porch ceilings and light fixtures
- Treated band along the foundation and up the lower siding
- Wasp, hornet and paper nest removal from eaves and structures
- Window frames, door frames and utility penetrations
- Garage, shed, deck framing and detached structures
How an exterior service visit runs
One trip around the structure, front to back, done in order so nothing gets missed.
Walk the structure
We look for nests, trails, harborage and gaps before touching anything, since what we find changes what gets treated.
Deweb first
Webs, egg sacs and wasp starts come down off eaves, soffits, corners and fixtures. Treating over webbing wastes product.
Knock down nests
Active wasp and hornet nests get treated and removed. High or aggressive nests get handled with the right gear rather than a ladder and hope.
Treat the perimeter band
A band goes down along the foundation, out onto the adjacent ground and up the lower wall, which is the path most crawling pests use.
Hit the entry points
Window and door frames, dryer vents, hose bibs, utility penetrations and the garage threshold get spot treated.
Report what we found
You get a note listing what was treated, what nests came down and any gaps worth sealing.

Exterior only, and why that is enough for most homes
We do not treat interiors. That is a deliberate scope, not a gap in the schedule. Exterior work handles the source, and a treated perimeter keeps the population from ever building against the house.
If you already have an active infestation inside walls or living space, that calls for an interior company and we will tell you so instead of selling you an outside service that will not solve it.
- Licensed applicator and label rate applications
- Nest removal included, not billed as an extra trip
- Notes after every visit listing what we treated
- No contract and no cancellation fee
