Lawn fertilization and weed control programs
A healthier, better looking lawn starts with the right care at the right time. Three programs, five to nine strategic visits, combining fertilization, weed control, crabgrass prevention, insect protection and professional monitoring.

Short answer
EKKO Lawns runs three lawn programs. Essential covers five strategically timed visits, Enhanced covers seven and Elite covers nine. All three include seasonally appropriate fertilization, crabgrass prevention, broadleaf weed control at scheduled visits, grub protection and a professional inspection every visit. You choose the level of attention and we decide the right treatment at the right time.
The right care at the right time
No two growing seasons are alike. Heat, rainfall, drought, weed activity, insect pressure and disease risk all change what a lawn needs and when it needs it. Our programs give you a defined number of professional visits without locking your lawn into a rigid treatment recipe.
Your visit count stays the same. What changes is how we use those visits to protect and improve the lawn in front of us.

Aeration and overseeding
Core aeration and overseeding are separate seasonal enhancements, not part of the recurring programs. They reduce compaction, improve turf density and repair thin or damaged areas.
Every property has different soil conditions and seeding needs, so these are recommended and priced on their own rather than folded into a program price.

Questions we get
The number of visits and the level of protection. Essential runs five visits, Enhanced seven with soil and root support plus weed control callbacks, and Elite nine with proactive disease management.
Enhanced. Seven visits keeps the gaps between treatments short enough that the lawn holds color and density through summer, which is where five visit programs get stretched.
Pricing runs off measured lawn size. Call (815) 521-6356 or request a quote and we will measure the property and give you a flat price for each level.
No. Core aeration and overseeding are separate seasonal services, recommended and priced on their own because soil and seeding needs differ by property.
Yes. Timing and treatment get adjusted for weather, turf condition, weed activity, insect pressure and disease risk. Your visit count does not change, only how we use those visits.
There is no long term contract. You get a service agreement explaining coverage, billing and how to cancel.
Yes. Home Pest Protection runs alongside any lawn program on the same property.
Yes at label rates, applied by a licensed applicator. Stay off granular product until it is watered in and off liquid applications until they dry.
